The Mission:
Socialize self-managed abortion through filmed entertainment.
Create an entertaining and fundable short film to socialize progressive and somewhat radical ideas about reproductive justice and self managed abortion that center human emotions, generational womb trauma, and grief.
Anastasia led the creator of the project through a Peregrine Deep Dive session to help surface and shape the key aspects of her story as well as the intended messaging and transformational elements that could be utilized in a film or TV project. Outlines and drafts of first the short film and then a TV pilot were shared with Favianna and her producers in a fairly standard development process. Anastasia also supported the development of decks, contest submissions and other promotional materials via strategy informed copywriting.
